Banni Biodiversity Banni covers an area of 3847 sq km. This area is absolutely flat; the altitude only ranges between 3 metres to 5 metres above sea level More than two thirds of the area of Banni is high in salinity.

White Rann

DHOLAVIRA HARAPPAN SITE

Dholavira is the larger of the two most remarkable excavations of the Indus Valley Civilization or Harappan culture, dating back to 4500 years ago. While the other site, Lothal, is more exhaustively educated and easier to reach, a visit to Lothal only complements, rather than replaces, a visit to Dholavira. Black Hill (Karo Dungar)

Chhari Dhand

The Chari-Dhand wetland conservation reserve is located on the edge of arid Banni grasslands and the marshy salt flats of the Rann of Kutch in Kutch District, Gujarat State in India. It is currently legally protected under the status as a Protected or Reserve Forest in India.

Flemingo city

A low-lying stretch of land that alternates between lagoon and desert, Rann of Kutch is the home of beautiful pink flamingos. These birds fly here from central Asia after each monsoon to build their nests, breeding in shifts through the winter and disappear as summer comes
